Restaurants
There are a lot of great restaurants in Sydney, but these are the big-time favourites
Beppi's Restaurant
Beppi's Restaurant is a great Italian restaurant that you'll find in the Inner City at Cnr. Stanley & Yurong Streets. They've got an excellent range of extremely delicious dishes.
Hana Haru
This Japanese/Korean restaurant is one of Sydney's gems. The sashimi is really wonderful and moderately priced. The menu offers dishes from both the Japanese and the Korean cuisines. You can find this great restaurant at 660 Crown Street, Surry Hills.
Erciyes Restaurant
This restaurant specialises in Turkish pizza. It's a perfect restaurant for big groups. On Friday and Saturday nights they've got live belly dancing. You'll find the restaurant at 409 Cleveland Street.
Clubs
You’ll find plenty of clubs in Sydney. There are clubs for all tastes.
ARQ
This is Sydney's "super club". It's well know for it's great sound, lighting and broadcasting equipment. You'll find comfortable seating alongside the dance floors. This place is high-energy and it's definitely the place to sweat off your cares and show your dancing skills. Take the buses up Oxford Street or make the 10 minute walk from the Museum Station to get here. It's located on 16 Finders Street at Taylor Square.
Basement
If you're more into live music, this is the place for you. For more than 25 years this club has provided Sydney with great live music from the best artists. Here you can listen to jazz, soul, funk, R&B and blues. All ages come to listen to the live music. Take the bus to Circular Quay and then you have a 3 minute walk until you're at the club. It's located at 29 Reiby Pl.
